POSITION SUMMARY:

If you are seasoned HVAC field technician and want to get out of the day to day maintenance grind, this is the position for you!

This position will work with the installation contractors in the field, both in person and remote and working with internal field resources to execute objectives. Candidates should have a desire to work at home and be available to travel to project location as necessary. This position has the potential to grow into a departmental management position for the right candidate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· As the subject matter expert, develop and train the process of VFD, HVAC motor and pump retrofits.

· Help internal team assemble bills of material and breakdown site survey information to help create ROI analysis.

· Develop instructions that describe the installation of offered solutions, and provide support to other disciplines.

· Contribute to the design of HVAC motor and drive equipment and specify the components of products and systems primarily used for commercial/Industrial RTU, AHU and exhaust systems as it relates to motor retrofit and ROI projects

· Research and analyze data – such as customer design proposals, M&V process, motor and drive specifications and manuals

· Communicate with the sales organization, installation group, utility or directly with the customer about product and system designs, performance, and specifications.

· Communicate with manufacturing reps and distributor personnel to build relationships to assist in executing projects according to specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2 to 5 years of related experience working in a similar role.

· A full understanding of application and implementation of VFD’s and smart motor controls.

· A very commercial HVAC mechanical aptitude.

· Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively, and as a member of a cross-functional team.

· Demonstrated problem solving skills, strongly motivated and approaches tasks with a sense of urgency.

· Full understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook

This is full-time position and earnings will be commensurate with experience.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
