Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a large-scale Epic-to-Epic migration initiative. This is a highly visible, enterprise-wide healthcare transformation program spanning clinical, revenue cycle, and infrastructure work streams.
The selected Project Manager will be responsible for leading individual work streams within the migration program, partnering with executive stakeholders, operational leaders, application teams, consultants, and Epic advisors to ensure successful planning, execution, and deployment.
This is an opportunity to contribute to one of the organization's most significant strategic initiatives and play a critical role in delivering a successful Epic transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead assigned Epic migration work streams from planning through go-live and stabilization.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and resource requirements.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including clinical, operational, technical, and vendor stakeholders.
Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and status reporting.
Identify and proactively manage project risks and escalation paths.
Ensure alignment across application, infrastructure, and operational teams.
Support conversion planning, testing, cutover activities, command center operations, and post-go-live stabilization.
Drive accountability and execution across multiple stakeholders and teams.
Collaborate closely with Epic advisors, application analysts, and organizational leadership.
Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to program leadership.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of project management experience in healthcare IT environments.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale EMR/EHR implementations, upgrades, migrations, or optimization initiatives.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication, facilitation, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience presenting to executive leadership and steering committees.
