Salud is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), 501©3 nonprofit, operating 13 clinic locations, an administrative and training site, and a mobile unit. We provide medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health care services to keep you and your family healthy. As an FQHC Salud is governed by a patient-consumer Board of Directors, which ensures patients' direct delivery of healthcare services. Salud receives operational funding from the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) to provide health care services in the communities we serve. We focus on low-income, medically underserved populations as well as the migrant and seasonal farmworker population. Salud Family Health accepts Medicaid, Medicare, CHP+, and most private insurance plans. We offer a sliding fee scale based on family size and income. Insurance enrollment assistance is available. Since 1970, Salud has had a firm commitment to provide care to all community members regardless of finances, insurance coverage, or ability to pay. Salud is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment that values and embraces all the differences that make us unique as individuals, including beliefs, backgrounds, and identities. Grounded in our Core Values, we are steadfast in our commitment to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce. Further, Salud stands with the Black Lives Matter movement, with Latinx, Migrant Farm Workers, with Native Americans, with the unemployed and underemployed, with everyone who based on their race, color, religion, gender, class, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability has been excluded from equal opportunity, equal health care, and equal education. The American Dream belongs to everyone. Together we will stand and work until that dream is equally accessible and achievable to everyone.
