Pros

In my 20+ year career in tech, this is the first place I've worked where I genuinely feel valued for the perspective I bring. There's a level of trust here that's rare. Leaders hire smart people and then actually let them do their jobs. Before SailPoint, most roles pushed its people to the edge. Constant pressure. Endless hours. Living in front of my laptop. Skipping meals, canceling personal plans and doctors appointments, and feeling like work owned every minute of my life. That grind was just normal to me. But this is different. People are kind. Collaboration feels real instead of performative. I'm not micromanaged, spoken down to, or made to feel like a mistake will end my career. There's room to think, to ask questions, and to actually build good products without operating in a constant state of stress. It's still a high-performing environment, but it's one where people respect each other and assume good intent. That combination is rare.

Cons

Like most fast-growing tech companies, priorities can shift quickly as the market evolves. That can sometime create short-term ambiguity around direction or ownership.
