If you want to succeed here long term you have to go through almost a hazing phase where, regardless of the territory/segment you are given, management lets the senior Account Managers cherry pick the established/successful accounts in your geographical territory "because that's how it was when they started".
New AMs are held to certain standards like a 6 month minimum contract duration and $600 weekly net profit while senior AMs get away with 3 month duration and/or $200 profit per week forcing new AMs to walk away from potential business while allowing senior AMs to use these terms.
Basically the whole management team in the Bay Area has never had another professional role after college aside from working at Actalent and it's very apparent in the cult-y environment.
People are catty, work in a resource scarce mentality poaching opportunities form their peers wherever they can get away with it.
As a company that stouts they understand how expensive attrition is, ask yourself, why are they always hiring for AMs/Recruiters? I can tell you from personal experience, in 2022/2023/2024 it is not due to company growth.
